(the organization) edits, prints, publishes, sells and distributes the gw hatchet, the primary student newspaper of general interest and circulation at the george washington university. The organization also provides, with the assistance of those with professional journalism and business experience, a practical and realistic educational experience for the students who comprise the staff of the organization.
Programs: Hatchet publications, inc. (the organization) produces the gw hatchet which disseminates information and exposes school students and alumni to university issues. As part of this endeavor, the organization maintains a subscribtion list of george washington university students, alumni and parents. Hatchet's newpaper is sent to individuals on this list.
