Harvest Outreach Centers has been in in the past.As a rehabilitation Organization for Homeless families and individuals.
This has been accomplished by housing, feeding and job placement in the local community.

However, over the past few years, our emphasis has not only been rehabilitation of the homeless, but we have also shifted our emphasis to the elderly community,Shut-ins, and families that are working but having a difficult time in making ends meet.

Our great focus is toward the specialized needs in surrounding area's of immediate Hunger that faces so many today, there isn't enough money if just one in the household is working.Children are not eating well with the common family. It takes every penny when you have small babies to exist.
Harvest is willing to be there for them. Have you ever looked into the eyes of hungry children and watched them when a small amount of food was put before them? It will make your heart sing with delight to know you have helped that suffering to end!

A cry of distress is being heard in the communities of Dalton,Calhoun, Chatsworth, Cohutta, Tunnel Hill, Varnell and all throughout the North Georgia area.

Harvest Outreach as a stand alone Christian Agency depends on many Companies and individuals like you to help with this greatly needed work that serves our Communities!

Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve brings many of our volunteers together at the North Georgia Fair Grounds each year for a wonderful Dinner and give-a-way to make someone else's day brighter and full of love,This is our heart to proclaim we care, having a friend in this time of great need is so imperative, as I have looked into the eyes of hungry folks. We here at Harvest are there to give hope where there is no hope!

Our community Kitchen feed over 58,000 hot meals every year with 100% of volunteers in our programs, due to our roof leaking we have been closed for awhile until this is fixed. A lot of promises and not enough money to ratify this problem at this time.
We moved toward sub-stations with churches to feed those that are in need.We give clothing, food bags for hunger, anything that will make a family comfortable in need.Harvest Outreach is on call twenty four hours a day. We are listed on internet programs though out many area's so that people in need can reach us a least for information and referral.
