Results: Parents volunteer: We activated 25 more parent volunteers making them members and seven new volunteer staff members, making us 300 members strong across the State. Families: The total number of families that understand their options today is 198; in 2022 total of 58 families helped. The parents now understand their options from personal interactions and social media platforms, including Facebook groups. We break down parents' options and how to obtain these options with EITC and OSTC. Children: Total children helped 278 to date. All children are now in private schools or online charter schools. Social Media Support: Our clicks, views, and comments have reached viral status, with over 300 interactions monthly on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Linkedin. We started making Reels on Facebook this month, and we are at 1000 1-minute views for each reel. We have 52 new followers across all platforms compared to last year. Events: We have hosted and co-hosted over six events this year, with four more planned. Speaking: We have had nine speaking engagements for school choice. Podcast: We were able to do four podcasts this year. Each podcast has hit the top of the podcast streaming list. We are also broadcasting internationally. We have 4 PSAs scheduled in Aug for Parents to receive the correct info about school choice funding options. You can listen on local radio at IHeartMedia HBG or Nationally at Close Your Ears Podcast. Advertisement: We completed a commercial and billboard supporting the Lifeline Scholarship. We have completed paid ads on Facebook and Instagram with over 50k interactions, views, clicks, comments, inbox messages, phone calls, emails, google views, website views, site visits, and inquiries. Our Google views alone are at 300 a month. Meetings: We have had 12 Zoom meetings with State Reps and Senators with two trips to the capital. We have sent over 200 emails, calls, and social media tags to lawmakers supporting Lifeline Scholarships. Rapid Response: We created a rapid response for attacks on school choice in PA. With this rapid response, we reversed the effects of the National Parents Union's confusion on Lifeline Scholarships. NPU pulled the post down and wrote a letter in support of HBGFUnited and Lifeline Scholarships to our Governor. School Tours: We completed 25 school tours for families looking to enroll their children in private and Charter schools. We have 12 children enrolled in school choice options this month. We have tours in six schools and one Rock City learning center. Parent Training: We organized three public speaking training and also attended four webinars on school policy National Activation: In 2022, we activated a parent into the school board. This same parent has now to be a part of the reform in national school policy. Services: Our model is “We support the Whole Child.” Some services parents need to break the barriers to their children's education are childcare, employment, food, and housing.
