Mission: Harris house is a charitable, not-for-profit corporation whose primary purpose is to help alcoholic and chemically dependent persons achieve sobriety and become useful, healthy, and productive individuals; implicit in our mission is providing under-served people the opportunity to experience the miracle of their own recovery regardless of race, creed, or economic status.
Programs: In 2017 harris house provided over 800 men and women with comprehensive substance abuse treatment services. Clinical treatment services address both substance dependency and the common co-occurring psychiatric conditions seen in harris house clients. Harris house also provided informational, educational, and crisis interventional support services for over 20,000 indirect clients. Treatment at harris house is gender specific and trauma informed and is provided in a compassionate and caring environment by a dedicated and highly trained, masters level and licensed staff. Additionally, harris house clients are provided with access to healthcare services.
