Mission: Hammond fire & rescue inc is a group of approximately 40 volunteers which have organized to provide fire protection and quality emergency medical care to the community it serves. They are located in hammond, st. Lawrence county, new york. The volunteers are on call to respond to emergency needs. Their primary focuses are to offer fire protection services and ambulatory services to the residents of hammond. In the case of emergency the volunteers are dispatched to a scene. Depending on the circumstances, their duties vary. However, the organization is prepared to extinguish fires, rescue trapped victims, provide emergency medical care and other duties as necessary. The group of volunteers consists of three advanced emergency medical technicians which allow the organization to offer advanced cardiac care as needed.
