Mission: To operate a hud-assisted elderly rental housing project under section 236 of the national housing act
Programs: The organization provides housing and supportive social services at hamilton house, a publicly assisted residence for low income older adults. The hamilton house - the hamilton is an apartment building on the upper west side of manhattan for 174 adults 62 years old and older. There are two licensed social workers in the building who provide services to the tenants of the building on a voluntary basis. Services include supportive counseling, case management, as well as assistance in securing public entitlements such as, food stamps, social security, health insurance . The social work staff also provide assistance in securing home care and housekeeping services.
