Mission: Small rural communities, unlike larger cities, simply don''t have paid staff to ensure success. Project success in small rural communities requires a group of motivated volunteer champions committed to seeing a project through from start to finish. Hagerman IDEA, Inc. was established to respond to this need.
Programs: Current programs and project include: 1) Promoting improvements at Billingsley Creek State Park - developing public/private venture. 2) Business development - ensuring vialiblity of Idaho's Bounty Co-op to aid local farmers in marketing and distributing local foods and products - $72,000 in private donations; 3) Quality of Life - Annual "Blues in the Park Music Festival - Sponsorships of approximately $11,000.
