The restore accepts new and used building-related materials from contractors, suppliers, individuals, remodelers, and property managers. Some materials are used directly in the construction of homes, but most are offered to the general public to purchase at reduced prices. Proceeds from the restore help provide simple, decent housing to low-income families in washington county while reducing the volume of waste in local landfills and offering a second chance for building materials.
