Mission: Provide affordable low-cost housing for qualifying low income families.
Programs: Habitat for humanity of rabun county builds one house a year for a low income family. We have built a total of 29 houses and one renovated house. We hold the mortgage for these families interest free. The houses are provided at cost. This year one house was turned over to a qualifying low income family. The cost was $134,702.
