Mission: To build decent, affordable housing in partnership with families in need.
Programs: Construction of homes for disadvantaged families in davidson, mooresville, cornelius and huntersville communities. Our towns hfh builds homes, whose size averages 1,100 square feet, that are sold to individuals at no profit, utilizing a non-interest bearing 20-30 year mortgage. In exchange, the families are required to contribute 400 hours of "sweat equity" towards the construction of their home and other projects.
home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Proceeds are used to build homes, community and hope.
