Programs: First robotics - the robobees - robotics program for students of all ages, primary focus is on high school students. Mentors guide students through team based problem solving projects and compete via first organization with 1000s of teams worldwide. Students also attend community events such as the st. Mary's college of maryland river concert series (approximately 5,000 visitors), st. Mary's county schools stem event (approximately 1,000 visitors), and the us national oyster festival (approximately 16,000 visitors) where they provide free hands-on activities such as building rockets, driving robots, and simple chemistry experiments.
