As a young rider committed to sustainability, Green is the New Blue has been a game-changer for me. Their dedication to promoting eco-friendly practices within the equestrian community is inspiring. Through educational programs, eco-conscious events, and advocacy initiatives, they're shaping a brighter future for horses and riders alike. Being part of their community has not only expanded my knowledge but also fueled my passion for promoting eco friendly equestrian practices at personal, local, and national levels.
Green Is The New Blue is opening people's eyes to how small steps in sustainability make a big difference. I was instantly attracted to their mission and I'm very proud to now be a part of their organization as a board member. The organization as a whole is raising awareness and making a difference, not only in the horse sport industry, but as a whole.
GITNB has down incredible work bringing awareness to the equestrian event industry and helping events implement sustainability programs across the country. From the grassroots level, the organization works to improve sustainability measures taken by both participants and the event organizers, making great strides towards a more sustainable future for our sport!
Green Is The New Blue is a dedicated and passionate group of individuals paving the way for a more sustainable future in our sport and for horse owners everywhere. Their outreach programs open doors for young riders to pursue futures in environmental career paths, as well as explore their own relationships to sustainability and the environment. As a recent environmental science graduate and rider, I have been proud to work as an intern for this amazing organization who have allowed me to explore my own interests as they pertain to sustainability in horse showing and ownership. Through encouraging sustainable habits and dialogue around the environmental impacts of the horse industry, they uplift individuals to make differences that pose a greener future for our communities.
I've loved following Green Is The New Blue since I first discovered it a few years ago! Recently, I have been lucky enough to work directly with GITNB. I have witnessed first-hand that everyone involved in the organization is passionate, hard-working and truly live by the GITNB principles. Their mission is so inspiring, and they truly are making a change in the equestrian community.
