Mission: Greater Works, founded in 1994 grew out of the need to assist disadvantaged children by affording them educational opportunities & resources (ie- phonics, basic math, science, etc) needed, when individuals find themselves unable to attend public schools or resident colleges. The program was later expanded to include feeding the hungry programs(Feed the Nations, Kids Cafe - sponsored by Golden Harvest Food Bank)which provides such organizations with meals for after-school & summer programs. In 2003 we started a new initiative, designed to assist families who are disadvantaged due to medical conditions. The program will seek to find funds to supplement related medical expenses.
