Causes: Education, Educational Services
Mission: To build community partnerships to reduce high risk behaviors including alcohol, tobacco and other drug use in order for our youth to grow to their greatest potential.
Programs: Youth activities-substance free programs, events and campaigns planned and implemented by teens in local communities. Educate and train teens to become youth leaders who plan and communicate drug free is the way to be. Scholarship awarded to two teens who remain drug and alcohol free during high school.
community and parent education-community meetings on alcohol and drug abuse prevention. Educate and inform through e-mail and website. Continue to provide experiences for youth to dialog with adults about issues affecting their lives.
ongoing efforts to continue receiving the drug free community grants and other local grants. Follow all federal and county grant requirements. Continue collaboration with community organizations and develop new relationships to help support our mission to be safe and drug free.
