Mission: The mission of the family life center is to socially develop this southeast neighborhood of midland by providing physical, educational, and spiritual resources that will help residents improve thier quality of life.
Programs: Summer day camp provides classes of reading, computer uses, games and physical activities during the summer months. The classes are instructed by licensed teachers from misd.
after school program provides assistance to students needing help in attaining grade level classification. Reading, math and computer use is taught by a tutor with volunteer assistance supervised by center personnel.
the purpose of the learning center is to equip a group of struggling 3rd grade students to a higher level of competency in reading and math by the time they take the 5th grade staar test.
