Mission: The mission of greater expectations learning center is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children will be educated through cognitive learning, artistic expression and imaginative play. Our focus is to provide the necessary tools to promote self-confidence, self-awareness and foster a love of learning.
Programs: Student transportation program to provide bus service for children attending before and after school programs. Expenses include the purchase of one van, insurance, gas and maintenance. The service supports school age children and various field trip activities at no additional cost to parents.
provide a nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack on site. Gelc receives funding from ohio department of education (cafp) to offset program service expenses.
shortly after first year of operations, gelc was awarded star one rating from ohio department of education & job and family services. Funding utilized to add employee lounge and educational equipment and materials.
servicing the finneytown community with childcare resources for infants, toddlers and school age children. Average enrollment in 2014 was 71 students.
