Causes: Arts & Culture, Performing Arts
Mission: Great river educational arts theatre (great) brings the community together through shared theater experiences. We strive to ensure everyone in central minnesota will have access to the transformative power of the arts.
Programs: Work with local youth and adults in the theatrical arts in order to build self-esteem, encourage team-work, develop public speaking skills, to set and achieve high artistic goals and explore their leadership potential. Great delivered 100 summer camps for over 1,600 students at seventeen locations through out central minnesota. To create high quality theater productions with a professional staff and community volunteers that entertain, educate and enlighten our community. Great produced seven shows with over 70 performances for over 62,000 audience members of all ages.
