" the rocky boy veterans center will become the hub for veterans, service members and their families to receive all benefits they have earned in their services to the chippewa-cree people and our country". The organization exclusively provides services to individual veterans and their families through culturally appropriate, charitable and educational efforts. The organizations purpose is to provide services and assistance in all manners pertaining to the improvement of the quality of life for veterans living on the rocky boy's indian reservation, the surrounding region and military service members.
Programs: Rocky boy veteran's center provides veterans and their families with direct assistance on a range of activities including: assistance with utilities, home renovations, fuel costs, job retention, vehicle maintenance, and homelessness. The center also provides with assistance with enrolling in the va and applying for va healthcare and benefits, assisting unemployed veterans find full time employment, and ensure mobility for emergency and everyday needs are met for veterans with limited transportation. The center aids veteran entrepreneurs to start small businesses in order to expand and grow the rocky boy indian reservation economy.
the center provides a check cashing service to veterans and the rocky boy indian reservations community. Since september of 2017 the program has served over 180 veterans, over 960 rocky boy community members, and has reinvested $421,300 back into the rocky boy community and economy.
