Mission: About Grateful Hearts Senior Dog Rescue & Sanctuary This rescue was created primarily for the senior dogs. Every senior has been rescued from euthanasia from high kill shelters not only in Ohio, but all across the country. Once rescued, all are medically evaluated by our clinic.. Our mission is to provide loving care to homeless dogs with terminal diagnoses. Most are hospice dogs and have diagnosed life ending issues. In these cases, we look for local only (Chillicothe Oh) permanent indoor foster homes. We want to continuously monitor and address any and all medical needs with our rescue clinic here.
