Programs: Goodwill Industries of Orange County provides a comprehensive array of education, training, and employment services to assist individuals to overcome barriers to employment. As a nonprofit organization, donors play a vital role in our ability to fulfill our mission. Our programs and services are funded by revenues from donated goods sold in Goodwill retail stores, document destruction, e-waste and packaging and assembly as well as subcontracted industrial services and fees from the state of California and private sources. In addition, we take an entrepreneurial approach in developing new business ventures, based on current market needs, to help fund our programs. Recent examples of those businesses include the Goodwill Fitness Center, the first facility of its kind in Orange County, desinged specifically for people with disabilities or chronic illness. In 2007, our total revenues were approximately $76 million. All donations to Goodwill of Orange County are tax-deductible, as provided by law.
