Programs: Retail stores - the organization operated seven retail stores that accepted donated goods and employed and trained individuals with barriers to employment in lorain county, ohio.
contracts - the organization employed 21 individuals that were in need of work skills, through outside contracts with local companies. These individuals were provided training and an opportunity to work in a supervised environment as they were prepared for the workforce, while gaining work experience.
rehabilitation - the organization provided vocational rehabilitation services and training to individuals with various barriers to employment that make it difficult to obtain employment without specialized training. This included holding job fairs, with 1,025 attendees. The job club program had 463 participants. Overall, throughout the year, goodwill helped place 446 persons at an average starting wage of $8. 50/hour, having a value of job placement of $8,224,722.
