Mission: Organization's mission or most signficant activities to provide, free of charge, one beautiful it's a wrap or good wishes scarf to women and children experiencing the thinning or loss of hair as a result of illness or treatment, to in some small way, ease their journey. Our goal is to provide a small bit of comfort and share the power of positive thinking and good wishes with these individuals on their path to healing and recovery.
Programs: Program service expenses: good wishes received fabric to produce head coverings and a select number of finished silk wraps from the finest accessories with a total value of: 12,785. In addition, fabric in the amount of 8,233 was purchased directly by good wishes. The fabric was used to produce head coverings of which 9,716 were donated & given, free of charge, to women and children experiencing hair loss as a result of illness. The cost of the sewing service to create the scarves was a total of: 31,926. Good wishes paid for the postage to send scarves to recipients who need them. The total cost of postage expense was: 28,047. Salaries and wages to support the efforts was 30,852. Fundraising expenses (other than donated items):good wishes hosts an annual auction called "strength, style,dignity" to raise awareness about the organization as well as money to become a self-sustaining organization. In order for organization to maintain its tax-exempt status, good wishes must have a multitude of donors, not just from one source. It paid 42,038 to the fairmount olympic hotel to use its event space & catering services to host the auction.
