We have been demonstrating the effectiveness of human-based cultural research as more appropriate for studying human disease than outdated and cruel animal-based research. Our environmental efforts are currently focusing on protecting hawaii from the proposed use of rodenticides in wilderness areas to eradicate rodents and mongooses. See nopoisonhawaii. Org. We are also working on discovering the cause and treatment for an epidemic eye disease on hawaii island, presumable caused by contact with the invasive little fire ant, which can result in partial to total blindness in dogs, cats, birds and other animals.
