bird quest - 1st saturday in may. Teams of people of all ages and skill level scout county for half a day to count as many bird species as possible. Picnic and prizes in the afternoon. 200 plus attendees.
vulture fest - 1st saturday in march. Various nature displays from local anmimal rehab and rescue agencies. Speakers, poetry readings and food. Earned money used for environmental programs and grants.
