Mission: Global Process Institute, Inc. was founded in 1989 by Dr. Arnold Mindell to facilitate an international learning and research community with a special focus on global conflict resolution and training international conflict facilitators. The organization provides a public forum to address differences, similarities, and conflicts between various groups of people in an effort to educate and bring different communities together. GPI provides educational programs, conducts annual World Work seminars in the US and other countries, and organizes and facilitates town meetings that bring opposing groups together to address difficult social, political, and environmental issues. One of GPI's recent accomplishments was having 250 people from 30 countries participate in its annual World Work seminar which took place in Slovakia, working on issues of racism, fascism, and sexism.
