I really appreciate the mission of the Global Humanity Initiative to improve the lives of impoverished and homeless elders around the world through food and housing support. The founder/president of the non-profit and I went through the same end-of-life care program a year apart, but I had the opportunity to meet her after her training and we've stayed in touch through the years. I love that she focuses on the elderly and homeless whether they are half way around the world in Kathmandu or right in her own backyard in Port Townsend, Washington. The stories she shares with donors are so very personal. It helps to make one feel truly connected to the work her group is doing.
I know the founder of this org personally, she is tireless devoted to helping seniors in poverty around the world. I would trust her team to care for my own family with the utmost respect and dignity. Though they are a small group they use every penny of their donors money wisely and do not relentlessly pester for more.
Alicia has put her heart and soul into this non-profit. I believe in her and her initiative to provide what's best for the planet and its inhabitants. Her dynamism and presence speaks loudly about her faith in others and belief in what she is doing. She knows she can't do it alone and builds bridges to join everyone she can to accomplish the best.
