Mission: We fuel mentor-facilitated GLOW Clubs in 30 countries. Since inception, our GLOW Clubs have ignited the power of over 91,000 girls to do 3 transformative things: increase their confidence, strengthen their voice, and build their power. We sharpen girls’ advocacy skills by supporting specialty summits, sponsoring girl-led community advocacy projects, and engaging in U.N. advocacy, reaching 2 million people annually. Our outcomes evaluations demonstrate that girls experience growth in confidence and a more positive future outlook, along with measurable progress in their own lives and in their communities.
Results: 100% of Global G.L.O.W’s targeted outcomes within our primary program (HerStory) increased according to data collected from 6000 girls who participated in Global G.L.O.W.'s primary program across 2018-2019. And in 2020, Global G.L.O.W. reached over 8,000 girls across 23 countries. Despite the global pandemic, Global G.L.O.W. is on track to reach over 11,600 girls in 2021.
Target demographics: Girls ages 10-18 in vulnerable communities
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 12,000 girls

Programs: We mentor and educate girls through our signature program, GLOW Club. GLOW Club is a mentorship program designed to ignite the power of girls. Through a 10-month curriculum of hands-on activities that build Social and Emotional Learning skills, girls in vulnerable communities develop their confidence and practice using their voice as they build lasting relationships with peers and learn to advocate for themselves and others. GLOW Clubs are led by trusted local mentors with strong ties to the community who are willing to dedicate their time to make a difference in girls’ lives. Mentors are positive female role models who come from the same communities as the girls they serve. Their intimate knowledge of community-wide issues allows them to adapt our curriculum to the local cultural context, preparing club members to overcome the specific societal barriers they face each day.
