Causes: Environment, Environmental Education
Mission: Glacierworks uses art, science and adventure to raise public awareness about the consequences of climate change in the greater himalaya. By comparing our modern high-resolution imagery with the archival photographs taken over the past century, we seek to highlight glacial loss and the potential for a greatly diminished water supply throughout asia.
Programs: Demonstration of the diminishment of glaciers through education and outreach.
