Mission: The Giving Tree was established in 1997 to increase the number of waiting children adopted from the foster care system in the United States. The Giving Tree recruits, develops and trains families to adopt children who have been abused & neglected from the foster care system and provides support services to families that adopt. Additionally, The Giving Tree creates community awareness of the 100,000 + orphans across the US languishing in foster care while awaiting a place to call home.
