Mission: Empowering the next generation of girls to explore opportunities to become tomorrow’s leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
Programs: Girls for technology's afterschool program engages girls ages 11-17 in quality afterschool programming that encourages and inspires the pursuit of stem disciplines and careers. The afterschool program is a transformative approach to teaching and learning. The afterschool program engages educators, students, mentors and parents and aligns with the common core standards of blended learning models.
girls for technology's saturday math and science academy is an enrichment program that educates and motivates youth via a pre-college, out of school, hands on math and science experiential learning academy. Youth, parents, educators, and stem professionals participate in full day programming workshops that include home based stem activities and field trips to locations that inspire and encourage a young girl's interest in stem disciplines.
