I am a 43 year old drug and alcohol free but for the past 8 years I've been constantly violated by the police and left homeless because the democrat system is a system that Banks on sins by slaving to sin you the minute you start.. It's a slaved system for your sins but the police constantly sinned against me and lawyers refuse to represent me like it says in Proverbs 31:8,9... I've been unable to get off my homeless mess because I feel that the police sinned against me why would the system slave to sin me for the officers mistakes... Constant police crimes against me and I'm still suffering on the streets waiting for God to vindicate me like it says on Psalm 43 and I Pray for psalm 143:8,9....If girls matter, women should matter to . Please pray that God hears my pleas for the holidays thanks. I go by Amiee Heart.

This is a great place where girls can experience a different type of reality. The activities are fun and so unique. I work with many young girls and have noticed a huge difference in the girls I have that attend this group and the ones that don't. I cannot recomment it highly enough.

The Girls Empowerment Center helped me into being the person I am today. I learned more here than anywhere else. I have learned acceptance of myself and those around me, as well as appreciation for where I am in this world. It is a community of girls that may, or may not, be just like you, and yu all help each other. I have never felt more secure or loved by so many individuals. I wish more people had a place to go when things get rough, or even when you want to share happy news. People like Johanna make the word a better place.

This group has gone into the high schools in the area and has been able to bring girls together and even help their parents by offering tools to support not only their children with their education, but with personalized support according to their needs. They reach out to the community in a huge way with an exponential effect.

This organization is truly the most inspiring organization. I loved spending every minute of my spare time with the girls here and the director. The director has made a safe environment for the girls to speak out and discuss how they feel. It is a place where girls can be girls; girls of different backgrounds heloing each other through similar situations such as school, relationship, or family issues. I really could not support an organziation more than I support this one.

I am so proud to be a part of such a vital institution. Not only do the people who work with girls have genuine affection for them but they all are united around the mission to bring out authenticity and promote tolerance.
This nonprofit is experiencing the beginning stages of what it has the potential to be and I am so excited to be a part of its growth.

From day one, my daughter has enjoyed going to group at the Girls Empowerment Center. She was welcomed into the group by both the director and the other participants. The activites are thought-provoking and teach the girls how to make good, positive decisions in their everyday life. She looks forward to each meeting!
