The staff is knowledgeable and hard-working, and they're 100% supported by voluntary contributions. They do not accept government funding so they remain nonpartisan and completely independent. Highly transparent, proactive, communicative and available to the public. Events I have attended are no-frills/no waste. Great group. In my work, I see many similar organizations nationally, and I can't think of one that is more cost-effective than GPPF.
The Georgia Public Policy Foundation is an excellent source of unbiased information on economic issues in Georgia. You can trust the accuracy of what they publish, and they are always looking ahead rather than just reacting. Unlike mainstream news outlets, they focus on facts and ideas instead of personal attacks.
This wonderful organization aids Georgia and it’s citizens in many diverse ways. This non profit promotes social justice and equal education opportunities which gives citizens of Georgia easier access to employment and any other post-secondary education opportunity. The main reason I would donate to this organization is the fact that they stick to their mission. They are always finding innovative strategies to increase individual freedom throughout the community.
GPPF has a relentless pursuit of the facts. Unbiased with every issue they tackle. Georgia would not be the same without this group. I haven’t met more polite people in the nonprofit realm like I have with GPPF.
I was not aware of how many issues Georgians are facing until I met GPPF. They are an outstandingly thorough group doing amazing work for every Georgian. I recommend getting involved any way you can.
I recently moved back to Georgia after 6 years, I wasn’t aware of the issues Georgia faces everyday. I met a member of the GPPF who explained to me the great work this non-profit is able to provide our state. Thankful that we have an organization that fights for our residents!
Georgia Public Policy Foundation, Inc. is a great place!
The people working for this organization are incredible, and so very kind. They are very knowledgeable on a lot of subjects.
I volunteered with the GPPF for their last Freedom Award dinner and had a great experience interacting with the staff. GPPF provides excellent insight into the issues that Georgia faces.
The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful about issues dealing with state policies. Highly recommend their services!
The Foundation gave me a great internship experience over the summer! I was able to get hands-on experience in the policy non-profit sector and my colleagues were great mentors. You can count on this organization to provide factual information regarding public policy issues. Their publications are a great tool for constituents and elected officials alike.
ALWAYS factual, never bending to the winds of popular opinion or political expediency. Instead you can depend of them to be based on fact, with solutions that are best for all the citizens of Georgia.
The Georgia Public Policy Foundation is the premiere think tank in our state. The counsel they provide to policy makers at every level of state government has been a crucial ingredient in Georgia’s incredible run as the best state to do business for 6 years running.
But this is not all that GPPF offers. The monthly breakfasts they sponsor provide a wonderful broad based policy education to the public at large with dynamic speakers discussing the critical challenges facing Georgia.
Finally their annual Legislative Policy Forum is bar none the best event to prepare policy makers for the year ahead at the legislature and in governing generally.
The staff is top notch and Georgia is a much better place because of the Georgia Public Policy Foundation!
The Georgia Public Policy Foundation has insightful programs with in depth research and review of the issues affecting the citizens of this great state. They are a strong non-partisan advocate for education, healthcare and free martkets in Georgia.
GPPF is a reliable source of thoughtful, practical and useful policy solutions. They are a benefit to our state.
The Georgia Public Policy Foundation operates with the highest level of integrity. They are always at pains to be transparent, and while collaborative, they insist that those they partner with demonstrate the same level of trustworthiness. They present the facts fairly and recommend the right path rather than the easy one.
They are always looking far ahead: A review of articles published a decade or more ago reveals that they studied long ago the issues with which Georgia grapples now. Their work has resulted in significant improvement in the lives of Georgians.
I had the pleasure of collaborating with GPPF for two events that we were organizing in the Atlanta area. Their team was extremely helpful from event inception through execution. They demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, commitment, and good stewardship of funds. It would be my great joy to collaborate with them again in the future.
GPPF always provides informed perspectives that generate results you can take to the bank! The best!
The GPPF has been a strong and reliable advocate for private property rights.
The Georgia Public Policy Foundation does excellent work in the public policy sphere. In the time I've spent volunteering with them, they have repeatedly shown their dedication to Georgia and to the greater Atlanta community through relationship building and offering well-researched perspectives on policy issues that are important to the public. They are an important voice in the free-market movement and have helped shape policy through their research and publications.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time making decisions while using this informative research tool. This non-profit organization has aided me in making the right choices in my political votes and other controversial issues. I would recommend this foundation to anyone.
I love that the GPPF presents unbiased, nonpartisan public policies! They are great at focusing on current issues that relate to the general public.
This organization produces informative research, host educational events, and provokes conversations between individuals. I recommend taking a look at their policies if you have not already.
My name is Tina Coria and I am the current Chairman of the Georgia National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Foundation that advocates for the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program, created by former US Senators Sam Nunn and John McCain to address what the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) deemed, in 1992 and still is today, to be the greatest domestic threat to our nation: high school dropouts. The Youth ChalleNGe Program operates under the authority of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, administered through the Chief, National Guard Bureau, and executed by the Adjutants General of the States and Territories. In Georgia, we have three Youth ChalleNGe Academies located at Fort Stewart, Fort Gordon and Milledgeville, which our Foundation serves. Since my earlier days working for Senator Nunn when he created this program, to now serving as the Georgia Youth ChalleNGe Foundation Chairman, I have relied heavily on the Georgia Public Policy Foundation (GPPF) to be our go-to as a non-partisan think tank for policy ideas to address constantly emerging issues by developing thoughtful and successful solutions that have served us well to keep our program in Georgia--Number One. I am most thankful for GPPF and look so forward to our continued partnership as we kick-off the next phase of Youth ChalleNGe to assist our Youth ChalleNGe Cadets with workforce development. It is currently in a pilot trial at Fort Stewart called Job ChalleNGe. Since 1991, I have counted on GPPF as my sterling asset in developing public policy initiatives that are both positive and practical in meeting and exceeding the challenges we face in our global society, without compromising our Georgia values!
I'd like to say that the GPPF is THE "go-to" organization for information and direction on public policy issues. I have known them to be spot-on with their evaluation of legislation and value their opinions when it comes to "thinking outside the box" on solutions to problems that Georgians face everyday.
I will always check with them first when it comes to formulating my own thoughts for an issue. I have the highest respect for this organization.
The thought provoking policy statements by the Georgia Public Policy Foundation are always compelling, well researched and well written. Many policy based organization seem to simply hide partisanship behind a thin veil of independence, but GPPF address issues that go across traditional partisans divides and propose solutions to problems facing Georgians of all persuasions.
I've been a supporter of the Georgia Public Policy Foundation since the late 1990's. I have relied on GPPF for sound, fact-based, free market research and data providing solutions to our most difficult issues including transportation, education, healthcare, and taxation.
As a Chief of Staff for a Georgia Member of Congress, I rely on GPPF as a well researched and thoughtful policy resource. They are integral in informing our team on a broad range of issues.
The principles that guide GPPF are non-partisan. Their motivations are rooted in compassion and good will. They dedicate themselves to finding solutions to our public policy challenges which benefit all Americans.
GPPF is the epitome of what a non-profit should be. Pure in intention, highly productive, and operated with the highest level of integrity.
In the current environment of partisan sniping and tribal political conflict it is much needed and refreshing to have the GPPF be an inclusive convener and platform for reasoned discussion on the great public policy issues of the day.
Active respectful debate built on research, data and a vision to make life better for all Georgians.
This is an amazing organization that provides up to date information on current issues important to me. The factual, unbiased reports on Georgia’s economy, transportation, education, healthcare, justice system, and employment are a dependable resource for anyone truly interested in where Georgia stands relative to other states, whether we excel or need improvement. The annual GPPF Georgia Legislative Policy Forum should be a ‘required attendance’ for all legislators - definitely a great learning experience.
A reliable source of factual information is hard to come by today. The Foundation has a 25 year plus record of getting their facts right. They stick to fiscal issues and are focused on creating practical solutions to challenging problems. Examples include charter schools, criminal justice reform and highway express lanes.
When it comes to looking for non-partisan, FACTUAL information, and concern for our great state of Georgia, you can always count on getting the facts straight when you talk to their team or read their information. Not influenced by agenda or "spin", it is my go-to place for facts. It has always been known to be of the highest integrity....always.
The Georgia Public Policy Foundation consistently provides rational, well-founded policies spanning the broad spectrum of issues facing legislators, staff and policy makers.
When people in Georgia want to know the truth about a matter ,they all want to ask the Georgia Public Policy Foundation. They have the reputation of “Telling it like it is !” Honesty and credibility are paramount - and that’s why they are the trusted “Go to organization” in the state of Georgia.
Effective non partisan public policy research institute in the State of Georgia, improving the lives of all Georgians. Focuses on health care, education, criminal justice reform, transportation issues and pension reform among other critical issues impacting our state.
GPPF does a great job of analyzing Georgia issues from a non-partisan perspective. They exhibit thorough research and deep thought on the most effective policies for our state. Plus, they present their policy solutions in a rational and civil manner. I personally have grown from my interaction with their process and presentation. More importantly, the great state of Georgia has benefitted enormously from their work. They are a prime example of a top notch policy think tank.
I am Ronny Just with Georgia Power. Public policy is hard and the Georgia Public Policy Foundation has been doing it well for a long time. Their independent voice and deep expertise has educated legislators, business leaders, and influencers alike on topics including healthcare, taxation and transportation...to name a few. We value working with them, but our greatest admiration comes when they respectfully disagree with us as they advance issues forward In the interest of all parties. Every state needs a centrist, conservative, free market voice like GPPF.
Georgia Public Policy Foundation is with:
