Mission: The mission of the Genealogical Society of Kendall County is to promote the study of family history research, collect and preserve biographical data and records of the people of the community and their ancestors, to build and maintain a genealogical library, and to offer programs of genealogical interest to its members and the general public.
Programs: For the last seven years, the Genealogical Society of Kendall County has brought an outstanding genealogist to the community as speaker for a day long seminar. The speaker also speaks at a dinner the evening before. Attendees are from Kendall County and other areas throughout Texas.
