Mission: The organizations mission is to ignite power in girls by teaching them skills to thrive and believe in their ability to be unstoppable.
Programs: The organizations program services included the following:* we are girls conferences: conferences held in austin and houston, texas annually are designed especially for girls in grades 3rd-8th and the adults who care about them. With dynamic break-out sessions and an empowering dance party, girls get to be totally in charge of their day. * clubgen: an after-school program for girls in 3rd-8th grades. Girls are surrounded with positive role models they can relate to for connection, inspiration, and guidance. Weekly interactive, fun sessions incorporate a research-based curriculum. With support from their club leaders, peers, and high school role models, clubgen equips girls with the skills and awareness they need to navigate the pressures of the teen years. * campgen: summer day camp that serves girls in 3rd-8th grades. Girls participate in fun, interactive workshops during weeklong sessions that are designed to help girls feel more confident as they navigate girlhood. * pathfinder: a personal and professional development program aimed at giving incoming 9th-12th grade girls a head-start on their road to independence, college, and career. * 180 program: an innovative program working with girls who are involved or at high-risk of becoming involved with the juvenile justice system. The program offers educational weekly groups at select schools, as well single day programing, which provide girls support, helpful information, and new skills to cope with tough situations they are facing. * girltalk workshops: discussion and activity-based programs that address the challenges that girls are facing. Workshops are offered to schools and community groups year-round. These sessions are designed for 3rd-12th grade girls, parents, and educators.
