The Guyana Relief Council(GRC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation in Guyana, South America which provides tangible assistance tailored to meet the needs of of families throughout the 10 Regions of Guyana who are affected by disasters- natural or man-made..
The GRC has a Shelter named the Yvonne Hinds Home of Hope where it houses families whose places of abode are compromised or demolished because of unfortunate circumstances. We are grateful to the Gail Foundation for the provision in October, 2014 of the playground facilities along with books and furniture for the reading room for children who temporarily reside at the Shelter.
We recommend the Gail Foundation be considered for recognition as a top rated Non-profit Organisation..
At a time in our world where people look at differences... The GAIL Foundation focuses on how we are the same...Children around the world have one thing in common...All children like to play. The GAIL Foundation provides children in another country with this experience...the ability to play. Play is an integral part of social, emotional, and physical development. By providing children with playgrounds the Gail Foundation creates experiences that will enable children to be happy AND better prepared for their future.
GAIL FOUNDATION DOES AMAZING WORK BUILDING PLAYGROUNDS IN THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES. IT TRULY IS NON PROFIT.
The GAIL foundation is true to its mission by creating opportunities for children to live a healthy and meaningful life through play. The dedication to this mission by the Executive Director is clearly evident in the faces of the children, and the many videos and first-hand testimony of those who have seen the results of the program. Keep on making the world a better place for the future generations GAIL!
The GAIL Foundation has stepped up to assist Guyanese who suffer disaster through the equipping of a play area for children who stay at the GRC Shelter. Thank you to Ms. Gail Seeram and the GAIL Foundation for your benevolence. Let me assure you the equipment will be cared for and used as intended. Thank You.

The Gail Foundation is doing a wonderful job in meeting a need that many others have not even considered.. I am pleased to say that they have met our need for playground equipment and it was a very great experience.
From start to finish they kept in touch about the progress of the project.
If you want to be involved in a genuine charity, join up with the Gail Foundation and help the less fortunate enjoy good playground equipment.
The GAIL foundation has brought joy to a multitude of under privileged children through the building of playgrounds and supply of basic necessities. It gives me pleasure and gratification to donate to such a great cause knowing that all proceeds are utilized 100%. I would not hesitate supporting any future ventures the GAIL foundation undertakes. Led by Gail Seeram, her dedication and commitment to helping children in need is inspiring and eye opening to us all. Keep up the great work.
It has been a very rewarding experience co-operating and working along with Ms. Gail Seeram and others linked to Gail Foundation.
The expressions of the children who benefit from the many projects leave me in awe.

As founder of the GAIL Foundation, I would like to share my life experience that led to the formation of the GAIL Foundation. In 2010, my parents took me to Guyana to show me where I was born. I left Guyana at age 5 when my parents emigrated to the United States. As i was leaving the town where I was born, I noticed an unpainted building and upon inquiry, discovered it was a children orphanage. When I spoke to the director of the orphanage, I discovered the children had no outdoor play area. I decided I would reach out to my family and friends for donations to help build a playground for these children. The building of this playground led to the formation of the GAIL Foundation. In 2011, construction of the playground at Promise of Eden orphanage was completed and many more playgrounds in Guyana were constructed subsequently through the GAIL Foundation.
