We founded this charity with the vision of not only helping animals but helping people too. Being a safe, accepting place for everyone no matter where they are in their journey or what challenges they may face. There is a special bond between animals and humans that can bring so much joy to both!

Fuzzy Faces and it’s afflicted contractors have really out done themselves with community service. I have seen first hand the lives changed through the programs offered here. Specifically the therapy riding program run by Freedom Steps. You can tell the animals and kids served here are top priority. When volunteering, it’s important to feel included and appreciated, while also working in a safe, well tended environment. I have always loved how peaceful the environment was. Over time, you see the healing that takes place and it’s wonderful to be a part of.

Fresh farm eggs from happy healthy chickens. For only $5 a dozen I get nutritious & delicious eggs for my family, all the while knowing its going to a great cause. Plus, they even let my kids and I come and meet the chickens and gather the eggs! How cool is that?! The team there is so kind and knowledgeable, we plan to visit again soon.

The mission of Fuzzy Faces Rescue is right on target for North Carolina. They not only discovered an untapped need for our farm based state, they also brought their expertise from other charities they have helped organize. Bonnie and George Dennis are forward thinking individuals with a drive and passion that is contagious. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with this charity!

Fuzzy Faces is one of the friendliest animal facilities I've had the pleasure of working with. It is filled with wonderful, compassionate people. As someone with several years of experience in the equine industry, I can honestly say I've never been to a barn quite like this.

Fuzzy Faces Rescue has assembled a dedicated group of diverse individuals with a common goal of helping a variety of animals. The organization is inclusive and transparent in its operations. They started in 2014 and have made tremendous progress developing the organizational structure to support their goals. While rescue is organizational goal, they recognize the critical importance of having qualified and dedicated individuals participating in leadership, volunteers, and associating other rescues.

Fuzzy Faces Rescue, Inc. is a fairly new non-profit that I have had the pleasure of working with (as a volunteer) from the very beginning. As of September 1, 2015, I have agreed to serve on the Board as Secretary. They continually strive to meet and grow into their Mission Statement. They are focused, dedicated, and excited to develop this non-profit into a safe haven for critically endangered heritage livestock breeds. Always keeping in mind the goals of researching and developing the benefits of animal therapy for humans of all capabilities. Come visit the farm and enjoy the peace!

Fuzzy Faces is a great place to be around animals in a peaceful setting to allow yourself to heal. They have reunited a cancer victim with her lost shephard recently. Random acts of kindness are the rule at Fuzzy Faces. Thank you for all you have done for me and Dixie.

What started out as an obligation became a passion. A shared love for the animals and the farm creates an environment of genuine affection between all of us who volunteer. I'm honored to be considered a part of the team at Fuzzy Faces Rescue!
