Mission: To reduce the strategic importance of oil to the economy of the u. S. ; to seek to eliminate the dependence of the u. S. On foreign oil; and to reduce oil prices worldwide, through, in each case, education, research, community involvement and other activities conducted either alone or in cooperation with others and in furtherance of one or more of the said purposes, all of which must be consistent with the requirements of section 501(c)(3) of the code, and (b) to make distributions to organizations that share a common purpose and that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Programs: Advocacy, outreach & education - the organizations ongoing efforts to build awareness in the public on the importance of understanding the many benefits of alternative fuels.
the organization gives research grants to better determine and demonstrate the viability of alternative fuels in the existing light duty fleet.
