Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: The organization's purpose is to address the national and local trend towards women being underrepresented in the fields of math, science and technology by creating learning modules in partnerships with schools and maritime associations in which leadership and stem skills are learned and applied.
Programs: Partnered with two schools (seattle girl's school and lake washington girl's middle school) to create learning modules related to math and science. At both schools, the program culminated in a stem sail designed to provide real life application of the concepts they learned as well as to foster teamwork and leadership.
