I have watched this organization grow and witnessed all they have accomplished for the Millbrae Library and its users. They are tireless volunteers who succeed in putting on excellent programs for the public, book sales and run a library store.
How fortunate for those that reap the benefits of this organization.

As a Millbrae resident for 40 years and a library user all that time I can say the Millbrae
Library is GREAT !! About twelve years ago we got a new library building with more
room, services and programs. Every small city should have as good a library.

I have seen how the Friends of the Millbrae Library have helped support the many adult and children's programs of the Library. They are a group of men and women who are friendly and helpful in many ways. Their goal is to make our local library one of the best in the area. I have been proud to support their efforts.

The Friends of the Millbrae Library (FML) were the catalysts behind the building of a new library, and then provided all kinds of programs that had never been done before. Concerts, lectures, classes, music venues, homework help, and scholarships for professional development of staff.

The Friends are a great group of caring folks who raise funds, in part by selling donated books, to support a variety of programs and activities at the Millbrae Library. Children, teens, and adults in our community all benefit. You can help us by joining as a member, volunteering to help in our activities, or donating used books or money -- see:

The Friends work hard to support the programs of the Millbrae Library--without them there would not be a homework center, summer learning, additional adult and teen programs, music lessons and much more. A wonderful library thanks to the Friends.

The Friends of the Millbrae Library organization supplements regular library funding to support educational and cultural activities for children and adults. These activities help the library become a focal point for the community and a welcoming location for all ages. The Friends volunteers also provide direct services to the library and support during library programs.

The Friends of the Millbrae Library does an outstanding job of helping to make the Millbrae Library the best in the area! It provides funding for a huge number of quality programs for children, teens, and adults, assists with bringing new technologies to the library, and its volunteers spend thousands of hours each year giving back to the community and their favorite community asset. Millbrae is very lucky to have the Friends!
