Mission: Friends of the Hermiston Public Library, founded in 1993, grew out of a need to support our local library. We are composed entirely of volunteers that organize the annual book sale and various other fund raisers. We also have various programs to raise awareness of our local library, Books for Babies, Golden Apple Awards, Generations on Line are a few examples. FHPL's goal is to support and enhance our public library.
