Mission: Friends of Goldendale Observatory is a 501c3 tax-exempt non-profit educational organization dedicated to astronomy popularization, science education, and helping to support the preservation and protection of the night sky. Our website also provides information about general astronomy related topics and events, and Goldendale Observatory State Park. Dark Sky Defenders collaborates with other astronomy groups and organizations to provide outreach activities related to astronomy and science, as well as education about dark skies and the reduction of light pollution. Donations are tax-deductible.
