Mission: Raise public awareness of the trail
Programs: Over 1,000 racers, walkers, and volunteers participated in the 21st trailblazer race. Dozens of volunteers collected trash and painted benches and fences during our trail work day. Throughout the year we provided information at cupertino earth day, los altos art & wine, mountain view art & wine, microsoft green day, and green kids. We maintain and update our website regularly to provide useful information to the public.
secured funding and started work on the fish passage project that consists of studies to develop a plan to improve spawning and rearing of steelhead trout and conduct the planning necessary to identify a preferred alternative for improving fish passage along the stevens creek. We expect these efforts will lead to significant creek improvements that will support restoration of the steelhead fishery in stevens creek.
