Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The spicewood community library completed its ninth year of operation. The library has grown from one with less than 4,000 items available for lending, several hundred library card holders, and two patron pcs with internet access to one with over 10,000 items available for lending, nearly 2,000 library card holders, and six pcs available for patron use. The library continues to offer programs for children (summer reading, halloween haunted library) and adults (adult book club, computer training classes) alike. The library offers over 9,000 digital book and other digital items to library patrons for loan through this virtual library branch. The library facilities are available and used by community groups such as property owner groups, the spicewood arts society, local water boards, and other local community organizations.
