I have been personally involved with Payir and FriendsOfPayir for the past 10 years. Payir is a Rural empowerment foundation started by Senthil, who gave up his white collar job in the US, and has been dedicating his entire time to Payir. I also relocated back to India after spending 12 years in US, to help and support Payir Trust.
Payir is a holistic Rural Empowerment Foundation, working in all fields of Health, Education, Nutrition, Skill development, Employment, Agriculture, Afforestation and Governance, reaching out to 25000+ villagers in 10 villages. Payir also plays an advisory role to many other NGOs spreading its outreach to 100,000+ villagers
