I was a volunteer with Friends of Guest House for over 10 years, and still am a supporter. This organization is truly changing lives and saving lives each day. They provide a safe landing space for women coming out of prison to assist them in reentry into society. They not only house and feed the women, they provide counseling and mentoring, and maintain long term relationships with women who have graduated from their program. They are led by a passionate Executive Director who is a leader in the Alexandria nonprofit community.
