Fresh Start is an incredable rescue! it was started 10 years ago by Angela W. a true animal lover and an amazing woman! she has run this rescue out of her own pocket with no sponsorship and few donations. a lot of work on its own,just cleaning cages,watering and feeding but also working full time as a single mom of 2 great kids.the cost just for bird food has tripled in the last 18 months and there are over 80 birds to care for daily! An impressive feat no doubt!

Mission: Fresh Start Bird Rescue is dedicated to finding permanent, educated, caring, and “FOREVER HOMES” for domestic birds. Who, through no fault of their own, have found themselves homeless from being unwanted, neglected, abused, forgotten, or in most cases because of life style changes that had nothing to do with the bird. Not only does Fresh Start help rescue these innocent beautiful birds. They also help and serve the community through Educational and Community Programs. Thanks to the rescue teams efforts.
