Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services
Mission: Freeset usa's purpose is to raise awareness about the global human trafficking crisis and help fight against human trafficking and eradicate the sex trade. Freeset usa conducts or will conduct four principal types of activities: (1) selling and distributing goods produced by freeset bags and apparel ("freeset") that provide economic alternatives to survivors of human trafficking, focusing on empowering persons trapped in the sex trade; (2) raising of awareness and education about the global human trafficking crisis, focusing on the plight of persons trapped in the sex trade; (3) conducting product development and market research; and (4) providing financial and other assistance to freeset and other organizations dedicated to the ending of human trafficking.
Programs: Freeset usa assisted the rehabilitation of victims of sex trafficking by providing and expanding market access for goods produced by freeset that provide jobs and economic alternatives to survivors and people at risk of human trafficking. In this capacity, freeset usa purchased,warehoused and resold products made by freeset. As a result of the various activities of officers, board members and other volunteers to raise awareness generally about human trafficking issues and also promote freeset's philosophy, mission and business. Freeset usa conducted (i) sale and distribution of custom print t-shirts and bags (ii) sale of stock products (iii) sales at homes, community events, fairs, and trade shows.
