Programs: Housing - operation of a residential facility for teenagers, providing a structured and loving environment, with 24-hour staff who are committed to helping the children develop discipline and learning skills that will prepare them to be mature young adults. Counseling - each resident will receive individual counseling with a trained counselor each week. During these sessions, specific hurts, problems, and behavior issues are worked through. The goal is to help the teenager to learn a respectable behavior, submit to authority, and to better relate to peers and adults. Additionally, family, group, and parental counseling will be conducted by a staff of professional and pastoral therapists with a goal to heal the fractured family unit. Schooling - each resident will attend a campus school upon arrival. Each resident is given a diagnostic test to determine an appropriate placement level, then an individualized education plan is implemented to allow each student/resident to progress at her own level. Living skills - the ultimate goal is to enable troubled teenagers to become productive and healthy citizens of their communities. The program includes instruction in life skills. Residents are assigned specified household duties and skills. Responsibility is earned and tested through a three phase system of reward, sincere attitude, and changed behavior.
