Mission: Provide warm and caring homes where men and women living with hiv/aids can receive comprehensive care and services to meet their unique needs in a loving and dignified way.
Programs: Fraternity house, inc. Is a single service organization that only cares for people who are hiv symptomatic or have an aids diagnosis. The service area is defined by three (3) primary program areas: the housing program(1), which focuses on the overall operation of each house; the aids caregiving program(2),which is the backbone of our organization, and is absolutely necessary to fulfill our licensing requirements. Residents receive 24-hour a day personal care and supervision with activities of daily living. Everyday routines generally involving functional mobility and personal care, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals and assist with adherence to complex medication regimens. Caregivers also help transport and assist residents with medical appointments and weekly recreation. With a caregiver's support all of our residents can access services and attend events regardless of their healthcare needs or limited mobility. The meals with care/nutrition program(3) has staff who shop for food, plan menus and prepare meals. This position is essential to a resident's overall care through developing a tailored nutrition program for each resident to meet their unique needs. All of our residents can access services and attend events regardless of their healthcare needs or limited mobility. During fiscal year 2013 we cared for 26 people living with hiv/aids. The organization provided 164,520 hours of care and support services, 20,565,and provided 6,855 bed nights of housing. And transportated residents to 545 healthcare related appointments housing during the fiscal year.
