I continue to have many positive experiences with this organization and have heard from many other members of the community talk about their positive experiences as well! My daughter's class went to their farm for a school field trip and learned so much! They all learned about farming, gardening, sustainable living, honey bees, local agriculture, and had fun while learning. It was a super educational and fun field trip- every child and adult was engaged! I have heard from friends that their therapeutic programs are successful and also educational. Once again, such a great organization!

The Foundation for Sustainable Families does wonderful work within our community. They are caring, compassionate people who are truly dedicated to making a positive impact on all the families they work with.
I've really enjoyed being part of Haircuts from the Heart! This has been the second year and it's only going to get bigger with each year. This is my way of giving back to the community and I love seeing those kids/teens (even adults) light up after they get their haircut!!!!
Foundation for Sustainable Families is such a great organization. From the hands-on farm to the comfortable office for counseling and therapy, Sustainable Families has done an impressive job of making clients feel at ease. They truly understand how to reach and connect with the community.
Great place to find resources. Interesting articles and timely information. Also, builds a community by listing local events.
They help the community in many different ways, from nutritional education to providing direct counseling service.
Ashley and her team held their annual back to school readiness event and I wish you could have seen the smiling faces of the children who left the office with a fresh hairdo, new outfits for school, and enough notebooks and pens to hold them for a couple of months.
The Foundation provided this for over a hundred lucky youngsters.
100% for kids!
I don't even know how to say thank you enough to this foundation or how to explain in words their impact in mine and my family's lives. We have needed support with our son and daughter through the last year and we felt so alone with how and where to begin with getting help. The Foundation for Sustainable Families helped guide us and gave us so much support, resources, activities, and educational help. Not too mention they helped teach us about organic gardening and healthy food options which we now use in our family dinners and the kids are so much more receptive to eating it bc of having fun learning at their farm. I am just very grateful for everything we have received from this foundation. Especially the emotional support. Thank you!!!!
One of the best aspects of this organization is their dedication and drive to improve the lives of the members in their community. Their hardwork and selflessness is unmatched by any other organization I've encountered.
I love that this organization has a comprehensive list of services and opportunities for children and families. This organization aims to identify service gaps in the community and carry out unique programs not being done elsewhere.
There are few organizations who are as comprehensive as this group. They tackle the needs of families, individuals, and whole communities.
It's an honor to get to volunteer and get our hands in the soil as we help to create the Sustainable Families garden. The Foundation's mission to empower foster children and their families through organic gardening and teaching life skills is so very needed in our society and perfectly aligns with our non-profit, The Illumi-Nation Project. We're thrilled to be joining forces with Sustainable Families! We wish them nothing but success and look forward to the goodness we cultivate together!
This Foundation was started by my adopted daughter, Ashley Rhodes-Courter, MSW. She spent almost a decade in foster care, living in 14 different placements before becoming an official part of our family. Ashley changed our lives for the better as a child, and now she's doing the same for thousands of others!
This wonderful group has worked tirelessly to help families in the Tampa Bay community. They are very creative and unique in their approaches to aiding families of all backgrounds who need various supports. Everyone should take a moment to check out their website and read about what they are doing today!
